Where did the year go???

We can’t believe it! It’s nearly Christmas, kind of! Well according to the TV & shops that are already playing Christmas music! Crazy! And what a busy time us Improprieters have had & are having!

The most exciting news is the announcing of our Christmas Show at MelloMello on Wednesday 12th December at 8pm.  We’ll be bringing you our usual mixture of made up games and songs.  We’re hoping to have some special guests too – so come along down & see who! And to top it off – it’s free (though donations always welcome of course!)

Our fortnightly workshop are continuing nicely – so if you fancy having a go at making stuff up just pop down to MelloMello every alternative Wednesday 7pm – 9pm – here’s the Facebook event

In other news October saw Ian Hayles and Trev Fleming braved the elements whilst being part of Alton Towers Halloween spectacular Scarefest making the visitors of England’s best loved theme park sometimes actually wet themselves with fright!

At the beginning of November Helen Foster, Lewis Bray and Rosie Wilkinson took part in the 2nd Bristol Jam 30 improvathon, “The Great Bristol Bake Off”.  For Helen & Rosie this was their 4th…yes 4th improvathon of the year leaving them both with a whopping 163.5hrs of improvathons this year! Now that is crazy bonkers!

November also saw Angie Waller go on tour with Belfast based Bruiser Theatre Company with their adaptation of Lady Windermere’s Fan which is being fabulously received around Ireland until 8th December.

And in December 3 of our Improprieters will be entertaining you with their wonderful Christmas shows.  Lewis Bray will play a multitude of characters in Spike Theatre Company’s adaptation of the Christmas classic A Christmas Carol at The Lantern Theatre from 1st – 10th December.  Keddy Sutton can be seen in Liverpool theatre company’s Life In Theatre’sMam I’m Ere at The Dome from 7th Dec – 12th Jan.  And Katie Cross will be spreading the Christmas cheer as the Fairy Godmother in the Christmas favourite Cinderella at Southport Theatre & Convention Centre from 8th – 30th December.

I think that’s quite enough for you to be getting on with!
